Big Buddha Temple

A large statue of Buddha image is dominating on a hill top of a small island (Koh Fann). It can be reached by walking up the steps to the big gallery for the spectacular view.

Plai Laem Temple

A century old temple, featuring a striking white 18-arm statue of Guanyin that called “Chinese Lady Monk”, and a large statue of Maha Kaccayana (An Indian teacher and philosopher). Statues are surrounding by a pond, which is teeming with fish. You can feed the fish by donation.

Laad Koh View Point

Admire the spectacular panoramic view of Chaweng beach, the longest beach
for 7 km.

Grandfather & Grandmother Rocks

A marvelous strange natural formation of rocks on Lamai beach. There are a lot of local souvenir shops around it, too. Let’s try Thai dessert called “Kalamae”, a sweet sticky candy made of glutinous rice flour, palm sugar, and coconut cream.

Guan Yu Shrine

A bronze statue of Guan Yu with 16 meters height, the biggest in Thailand. The shrine is a celebration of Chinese heritage which has begun by Chinese-Hainan in Koh Samui.

Kunaram Temple

Or Mummified Monk Temple, pay respect to the mummified body of Luang Por Daeng, the sacrosanct for native. He died more than 50 years ago, his body shows few signs of any major decay (un-decomposed).

Namuang Waterfall 1

Impressive with the wide drop of 15 meter height cascade waterfall to a natural pool below. Refresh with swimming in a pool and absorb the nature around.
