Accommodation Bookings

General Cancellation and Amendment Policy

Cancellation

  • All bookings can be cancelled within 30 days prior to check in date with a full refund.
  • Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to check in date are subject to 1 night stay charge.
  • Full amount of booking fee will be charged if the cancellation is made within less than 7 days before the checking date.
  • All cancellation requests must be e-mailed by the guest to: booking@thaiholidayplanner.com
  • The conditions above apply to all bookings unless the booking is specified with special conditions.
  • Please also note that the conditions above are simply the guidelines for the worst-case scenarios, as your dedicated travel assistant, we will go far and beyond to keep any possible penalties at minimum!

Amendment

All amendments to a confirmed booking are subject to availability. Though, as Thaiholidayplanner, we work hard to honor all requests by our guests, regarding making changes to their existing bookings, changes such as adding extra nights, rooms or number of persons. In order to accomplish those requests, we co-operate with our hotel partners very closely.

Refund

The cancellation cases that meet the conditions for a refund are processed within 30 days upon the notification of the cancellation is received. The refunds also may be subject to additional charges, such as processing fees by the credit card companies or payment channels. In any case, Thaiholidayplanner does not charge any cancellation process fees.

Tour & Activity Bookings

Cancellation by the guests

  • All bookings can be cancelled with a 48-hour notice before the tour/activity starts, for a full refund.
  • Full amount of booking fee will be charged if the cancellation is made in less than 48 hours before the tour/activity starts.
  • All cancellation requests must be e-mailed by the guest to: booking@thaiholidayplanner.com
  • The conditions above apply to all bookings unless the booking is specified with special conditions.
  • Please also note that the conditions above are simply the guidelines for the worst-case scenarios, as your dedicated travel assistant, we will go far and beyond to keep any possible penalties at minimum!

Cancellation due to other conditions

  • Bad/dangerous weather conditions: in the cases of bad or dangerous weather, the local operators have the right to cancel the tours/activities.
  • Local law enforcement: If any regional or nation-wide local law (Laws of Kingdom of Thailand) enforces restrictions upon tours/activities, all tours and activities may be cancelled.
  • In any case of cancellations due to one of the conditions above, the guests are presented with two options which are receiving a full refund or changing the date of the tour/activity to a later available date.

Amendment

Refund

Please note that this period may take longer in some cases, as the finalization of the whole process also depends on the third parties. The refunds also may be subject to additional charges, such as processing fees by the credit card companies or payment channels. In any case, Thaiholidayplanner does not charge any cancellation process fees or make any profit from it.
